PFA Coatings

PFA Coatings have the broadest range of chemical resistance of all fluoropolymer coatings at the highest temperatures.

Porosity of PFA coatings is generally lower than PTFE coatings. Other characteristics include good non-stick properties and a very low coefficient of friction. Many versions of PFA coating are available including FDA compliant coatings for direct food contact uses. Maximum operating temperatures are generally 500° F/260° C.

PFA coating application thicknesses can range from 12 microns (.0005") to 1016 microns (.040").
