Tefzel ^® Coating

Tefzel coating is a melt processable fluoropolymer coating. It’s a copolymer of TFE and ethylene also known by its chemical name ETFE.

Tefzel coatings provide you with the following benefits:

• Maximum Continuous Service Temperature is 300°F
• Non Porous Film
• Excellent Chemical Resistance to a Wide Range of Chemicals
• Exceptionally Tough and Abrasion Resistant
• Highest Coefficient of Friction of All Fluoropolymers
• High Dielectric Strength = 3000 volts/mil
• Coating Thicknesses up to .100”
